Compare and contrast (Firegirl and how it must feel to get treated different)

I am comparing and contrasting the book "Firegirl" and the poem called "How it must feel to be treated different". These are the same because it the book "firegirl" Jessica gets burned and she enters a new school because it's closer to the hospital. When Jessica enters the new school everyone talks about her beind her back. She does not really have friends when she first enters the school. In the poem it talks about how people get treated different from the way they look or the way they act just like Jessica. The thing that is different about the poem and story is in the end Jessica makes friends with Tom and they become really close. In the poem they are talking about how they are treated differ not there whole life how it never changes.

Firegirl

I am reading the book called "Firegirl" by Tony Abbott. This book is about a girl named Jessica that got burned in a fire. She starts a new school because it's close to her hospital. When she enters the new school everyone acts different around her because she's all burned. No one really talks to her or sits with her because she looks different then everyone else. She comes to school very late and leaves early almost everyday. Jessica came early one day to school and she was in time for the pray circle when she went to grab hands with one of the students he said he wasn't going to grab her hand because she was burned. I like this book a lot and it's a very shocking book seeing what she goes through June at because she burned. Jessica doesn't act any different then anyone else she use looks a little different and people make fun of her for looking different then them.

New Years

This year my New Years resolution is to not get falcon fouls. The way I'm going to do this is to do my homework. One other reason I get falcon fouls a lot is when I get tired or I'm lazy and I decide to not dress for gym. One of the excitied things I am doing this year is going to Playlist Live Florida Orlando in April. Also this year I am going to high school so in also excited for that too.

Fault in our stars

I was reading the book called "The Fault in Our Stars" by John Green. In this book Hazel Grace is a average teenager but she has one problem. Hazel has cancer and her lungs don't work like they should be. Hazels mom puts her into a support group to help her with her problems. In the support group there is a boy named Augustus. Augustus had cancer that is the reason he was is the support group. Hazel and Augustus end up becoming close they started to hang out. Hazel and Augustus spent a lot of time together and they ended up falling for each other. Augustus tells Hazel that his cancer is back but this time it came back worst. Hazel started to go through a very hard time because Augustus was one of the closest to her. Augustus ends up passing away. I recommend this book because it shows you what people go through with cancer. It also shows you how it is to lose someone that is very close to you. This book is very sad one of the saddest books I have ever read. I very highly recommend this book.
